How TF Did This Person Predict The History-Making Harry Styles Vogue Cover Two Months Early?

My close pals refer to me as Mystic Matt because I’m obsessed with all kinds of future-reading phenomena: tarot, tea leaves, palm reading, astrology (if you haven’t checked out this week’s horoscopes, I suggest you do so NOW). I pretty much love any kind of oracle that can give me a peek into the future, so I’m always hitting up this Twitter page that predicts upcoming pop culture events, like Harry Styles gracing the cover of Vogue.

The page is called 2020 Predictions and, as the title suggests, it lists a bunch of predictions for this year and honestly, they’ve gotten a fuck ton right. From Kylie Jenner appearing in a hit music video to Keeping Up With The Kardashians coming to an end, the page has been wowing me all goddamn year with its eerily accurate tweets.

But one that’s particularly blown me away is this tweet from September 26 where they predicted that “a member of One Direction will cover Vogue.”

Then two months later, this groundbreaking and totally unexpected masterpiece was unveiled by both Vogue and Harry Styles:

Granted, things like KUWTK ending after years and years on the air and Kylie Jenner appearing in a music vid are stuff that anyone could’ve predicted, but Harry Styles covering Vogue was so surprising that it made international headlines and sparked a heavy debate. Legit no one saw it coming, so how did this Twitter account figure it out?

When I discussed this with my boss, she remarked: “Wow, astrology must be real!” But the thing is, I don’t think astrology has anything to do with this? Being an astrologer, I can tell you that planetary movement is able to tip you off to when shit’s gonna go down, but it can’t give you specifics. There are no astrological method to inform you that Harry Styles is going to cover Vogue.

So what the hell kind of witchcraft is this!?

I’ve worked at several magazines in the past and have been involved in sourcing, shooting and interviewing famous cover stars so I know for a fact that most covers aren’t locked in at the last minute, it takes months of planning to get it off the ground. So perhaps someone involved in the Vogue cover leaked the info to this Twitter page (although I don’t know why they’d do that?). But that doesn’t explain all their other correct guesses as their Vogue / Harry Styles sources would surely differ to, say, their Kardashian sources.

I’m baffled. Stunned. Stumped.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to comb through every single other prediction they’ve tweeted as clearly there’s some truth to this madness.
