At PEDESTRIAN.TV, we independently choose and write about stuff we love and think you’ll froth too. We have affiliate partnerships so we might get a bit of money from any purchase you make based on our recs, cool? Cool. FYI – prices are accurate and items in stock at the time of posting.

I’m happy to report it’s that time of the year again when I decide to round up all things Harry Styles. Why? Why not, I say! So, join me as I run through some of Harry’s biggest moments from 2020. Is this just an excuse to write a 1000 words about Harry Styles? Maybe.

Before we begin though, you can stream (and stream, and stream) Fine Line on all your usual suspects. Get around it, right HERE.

Aight, let’s get into it.

1. When Harry Styles and Lizzo performed ‘Juice’ together

Last December, Harry covered Lizzo‘s ‘Juice’ for the BBC’s Live Lounge. Not to be too visual here, but I would lather myself in the rendition if I could. It is simply divine listening.

Anywho, Harry then joined Lizzo onstage at the SiriusXM event in Miami. This was back in January, right before things started to look really bad for everyone.

God, I miss live music. I miss it so much.

As an aside, let us never forget how chaotic Lizzo and Harry were at the BRIT Awards in February.

2. When Harry performed ‘Falling’ at The BRIT Awards

Shivers, I get shivers every damn time.

3. When Harry did a Tiny Desk Concert

NPR released Harry’s Tiny Desk Concert back in March, after recording it in February. I *think* it was one of the last concerts to be filmed on set, before the pandemic shifted things to the homes/studios of the artists.

Harry performed ‘Cherry’, ‘Watermelon Sugar’, ‘To Be So Lonely’, and ‘Adore You’.

As as aside, Billie Eilish and Finneas completely recreated the NPR office for their Tiny Desk concert. I’m talking extremely good cardboard cutouts.

4. When Harry announced his Aussie ‘Love On Tour’ dates

I mean, lol.

I still remember scrambling to get tickets to this – that was a day and a half – but Harry’s Love On Tour dates have been indefinitely postponed due to the pandemic.

His tour was slated to kick off in November and December of this year, but fans caught onto the fact that it probably wasn’t going to happen. Harry was recently spotted on production of his new film, Don’t Worry, Darling, costarring Florence Pugh. And as talented as Harry is, I don’t think he can be in two places at once.

More on that film later.

5. The ‘Watermelon Sugar’ video

I’ve probably skipped a few things to get here, but I was getting impatient.

It was a chilly morning in May, I had just woken up, and the first thing I did was watch the music video for ‘Watermelon Sugar’. I hadn’t hugged anyone in months, the video is dedicated to touching, I may have cried a little.

6. When Harry teamed up with Calm

Harry linked up with meditation and sleep app Calm to bring listeners Dream With Me. It’s basically Harry Styles reading you bedtime stories to help you sleep at night.

It is a TREAT.

This is neither here nor there, but I keep getting targeted adds for Calm and other sleep apps and I don’t know if I should be concerned or not.

7. When Harry grew a moustache

Oh, my God, this was a whole-ass thing. Harry literally just grew a moustache and went on a jog in Rome, and he went completely viral. Like not just viral, but viral-viral. Twitter melted, the stans were not okay.

But wait, there’s more.

8. When “HARRY SHAVED” trended on Twitter

Okay, so, a girl’s mother apparently spotted Harry at a gym in September… with no mo. She decided to tweet about it, going completely viral in the process. The girl’s Twitter thread went so viral, she decided to delete the whole thing because some fans were trying to track down Harry’s whereabouts.

“[I] just wanted to share my experience and did not expect it to blow up like it did,” she tweeted at the time.

“If u see anything about trying to find the gym or something please ask them to delete bc it’s clearly somewhere he goes for fun and I do not want to publicise that location. thank u for a hit tweet!”

Viral tweet aside, Harry’s decision to shave “divided” fans online. They didn’t know what to think, so naturally “HARRY SHAVED” started to trend worldwide.

It did, it really, really did.

9. When Harry joined the cast of Don’t Worry, Darling

Love to see it!

Harry, who has previously starred in Dunkirk, officially joined the cast of Don’t Worry, Darling in September. He replaced Shia LaBeouf, who had to pull out of the film due to scheduling conflicts.

Don’t Worry, Darling is directed by Olivia Wilde (Booksmart), and costars Pugh and Chris Pine.

According to Variety, the film is set in an isolated community in the California desert during the 1950s.

I don’t know who to look at, I just – WOOF.

10. When Harry released the ‘Golden’ music video

My favourite bit of the ‘Golden’ music video will always be the grandpa Harry runs past, who’s just like, ‘Oh, hello’.

11. When he fed a fan’s fish…

…AND SHE WASN’T HOME.

Theadora had been out when Harry’s car broke down outside her home. So her dad offered to help him with it. He also told Harry how much his daughter loved him, so he signed her Fine Line album, left her a handwritten note, and fed her fish.

12. When Harry Styles blessed the cover of Vogue

Oh look, art.

Because some people suck, Harry wearing a dress on the cover of Vogue sparked a lot of debate about “manly men” and masculinity. Said people aren’t worth mentioning, but their backlash did lead to open discussions about gender norms in 2020. It also led to a celebration of all the queer and people of colour in the past who broke these gender norms before Harry did with Vogue.

And, of course, let us never forget Harry’s ultimate clap back to the critics.

Harry Styles, patron saint of my heart. Bless him.
