So ends a decade of watching Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint grow up on screen before our eyes. The three Gryffindors who have been portraying the same characters since 2000 (did Daniel Radcliffe, as an 11 year old, really understand what it meant to be known as ‘Harry Potter’ for the rest of his life?) and you can now watch them film their final scene together.
While Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, is slated for release on July 15- it completed filming some time ago. Both parts of Deathly Hallows were filmed simultaneously by director David Yates and, as it turned out, the final shot for all three actors actually appeared in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.
The DVD of that film is released on April 15 and, on it, there’s a segment that shows the filming of that final shot, which you can see below.
