It might only be December 19th, but the jolly folk at Netflix are letting you unwrap the big gift early, with the announcement that every single Harry Potter movie is coming to the streaming giant in January. Every movie. Every one of ’em. Netflix. January. Merry Christmas!
The red ribbon brand unveiled the get on social media a short time ago, confirming the hugely beloved film series will be hitting Netflix come January 15th, which really isn’t that far away at all.

We repeat, ad nauseam, every original Potter movie is coming to Netflix.
It’s not a trick. Nor is it a drill. Or a bamboozle. Or any kind of flim flam.
All eight movies from the original series. We’re talkin’:
- Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
- Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 & 2
All eight. Watch them in order, watch them out of order, watch them spread out over the course of a few weeks, watch them all at once in a bleary-eyed haze. The choice is quite literally yours.
Mark this date down on your calendar though, folks: January 15th. Not a day before. That’s when all this good gear arrives.
