Oprah’s highly publicized trip to Australia will not only see the Queen of daytime leave her mark on the Opera House, to be temporarily renamed the Oprah House in her honour, but the landmark opposite too. In a move that proves why $100 million worth of international exposure can get you anything, Sydney Harbour Bridge will be adorned with a giant version of Winfrey’s trademark “O” during the duration of her stay.
Reports Nine MSN: “Engineers and designers have been hard at work on installing the giant “O”, with the support of NSW Premier Kristina Keneally, a government insider said…”We are delighted The Oprah Winfrey Show has chosen NSW as the location for their ultimate adventure,” Ms Keneally said yesterday. “This is a great opportunity to showcase NSW and Sydney to a global audience.””
