Hamish & Zoë Foster Blake Sold Their Richmond Grand Designs Home & The Pics Are *Chef’s Kiss*

Following their big move to Sydney, Zoë Foster Blake and Hamish Blake have just sold their Grand Designs property in Richmond after just two weeks on the market, and I am sad to say that the buyer wasn’t me.

The buyer doesn’t wish to reveal how much they bought the home for, but the ballpark figure is thought to be between $5.9 million and $6.3 million (or more).

Back in 2013,  the it couple bought the Richmond home for $4.25 million, which at the time was the highest price paid for a home in Richmond, Pricefinder records have shown.

“We couldn’t believe it when we found it,” Zoë Foster Blake said to Domain.

“Our days at home – and we spend a lot of time at home with our kids – were filled with sunlight, swimming, cooking, surrounded by greenery and gum trees. It felt like an oasis with the very best of Richmond, Fitzroy and Melbourne right there on our doorstep.”

Considering their current home in Sydney’s Vaucluse is worth a whopping $9mill, their Richmond home was a bloody bargain. Ever since I saw the house, I have quite literally been in love with it. Some girls like hot celebs, I like houses. Such pick me energy, but I’m not afraid to admit that architecture gets me more excited than a 6 pack.

Imagine having a house party here…

Last year, the Blake family announced they’d be leaving Melbs and bought their new Eastern suburb property, which is 885sqm and just a short commute away from the Go-To skincare headquarters.

The pair announced the move on Instagram, with Hamish Blake writing that:

“For a long time I have known that stealing my wife from Sydney would mean one day we’d venture there to live a while.”

“Since her business is going so strong (“booming” I believe is the business term), her family is there, and I am keen to get a role on Bondi Rescue (as a tourist who faints from eating too many ice creams) it seemed like the time to make the move!

Manifesting that I will one day live in a multimillion dollar property, rather than a share house with a pantry moth infestation.
