Gwyneth Paltrow Denies Inventing The Phrase ‘Conscious Uncoupling’

In what may be the most significant #breaking news story of the day, human queef of pixie dust Gwyneth Paltrow has flat-out denied that she came up with her signature catch-phrase ‘conscious uncoupling‘.
Even more troubling still, Gwyneth has distanced herself from the phrase ‘vaginal steaming‘, claiming that a GOOP editorial director by the name of Elise Loehnen brought this bright, sparkling linguistic gem into the world.
In a recent interview with Fast Company, Gwyneth addressed the true origin of ‘conscious uncoupling’, saying that when she announced she was separating from Chris Martin via a GOOP blog post, Loehnen attached the infamous headline without her knowledge.
After it went viral as all balls, Gwyn made the decision to just own it. “When something like that happens, I think everybody is like, ‘Oh, shit,’” she said. “I just tell them that I think we are creating interesting discussions.”
Paltrow bristled when asked about the infamous piece on vaginal steaming (“it’s an energetic release – not just a steam douche”) saying that, while Loehnen wrote it, “it’s a thousands-of-years-old practice in Korean spas.”
We’re heartbroken at this development and it may take some time to adjust. If you need us, we’ll be over here easing our pain with some of GOOP’s patented chocolate sex bark.
