There’s very little more concrete proof that Apple Martin is definitely, absolutely, 100% the spawn of Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow than the photo that Gwyneth shared this week of her and the apple of her eye (heh) to celebrate National Daughters Day.
Truly a spit of her parents, isn’t she? And having a side-by-side selfie with Gwyn really makes it all the more obvious. Holy shit they’re the same person but 14 years apart. I know that people love to give the slightly oft backhanded compliment of “oh wow you could be sisters!” but really, Gwyneth and Apple COULD be sisters. Hell, my sister and I are 18 years apart. IT HAPPENS.
Sharing private photos of Apple on her Instagram is somewhat of a rare occurrence for Gwyneth, but we have been blessed with not one but TWO photos of her mini-me this year. The one this week and one earlier this year for Apple’s 14th birthday.
You know how when people are cooing over babies they’re always like “oh you have your father’s eyes” well holy shit Apple actually definitely has Chris Martin’s eyes. Like if you got a photo of Gwyneth and Chris and overlapped them, I’km like about 85% certain it’d be just a photo of Apple.
She’s got that precious squint eye from her Dad and literally everything else from her Mum. Blessed with little characteristics to remind everyone that Apple Martin is from UK celeb royalty blood and heaven forbid we ever forget that.
Her striking looks (seriously this girl could be a fuckin’ model by the age of 18 if she wants) aren’t the only thing she’s picked up from her talented genes – footage from a couple of years ago shows that Apples got creativity out the wazoo, performing a gorgeous cover of Ariana Grande‘s ‘Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart‘ with her dad on piano.
