It feels like there hasn’t been a single week lately that hasn’t had Grimes‘ name in the news somewhere, but alas, here we are. Grimes and Lil Uzi Vert (who recently planted a diamond into his forehead), have made plans to get Neuralink brain chips together, so here comes the Avengers.
This announcement comes shortly after Elon Musk announced that his Neuralink brain implants will be moving to human trials later this year, after he successfully gave monkeys the ability to play video games with their mind. Welcome to the future!!
Lil Uzi Vert, who just recently planted a $31M diamond into his forehead, is no stranger to having things put inside his cranium, and shared his excitement online.
“NEURALINK,” he wrote on Twitter, with an emoji of a bat and a diamond.
“Let’s get brain chips,” replied Grimes.

I don’t know about you, but if there was anyone out there I’d trust to become superheroes who could control things with their mind, it’d be the rapper with the forehead diamond, and the mother of X Æ A-Xii. I mean, it sounds perfect, and I am ready to embrace this utopian future.
It kind of helps Grimes’ rise to superhero status when you consider she’s directly linked to the richest man in the world. There’s always a billionaire somewhere in the mix.

“Let’s aim for chips by 2022,” wrote Grimes.

And to make things worse, rapper Kreayshawn jumped in on the bandwagon like the ghost of 2011’s past, saying she’d be down too.
Something tells me she’d be the Robin in this Justice League. As in like, she’d be there, she’d be able to kick ass, but nobody will really care.

Anyway, I for one am cautiously excited to see what happens when these celebs get their brains implanted with chips.
I can smell the brain-chip-only album releases from here. That, or I’m having a stroke.
