Here is the trailer for the fifth installment of NASA calibre mugging simulator Grand Theft Auto. Building on the universe drawn in 2004’s Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, players will indiscriminately beat the citizens of So-Cal surrogate Vinewood, a place where WASP-y leisure activities like hiking, golfing and jetskiing are tempered with the urban malaise of a very visible homeless population, scary men in jumpsuits and fatal crop dustings. We’re thinking a Robin Hood style indictment of income disparity but with less tights and more rocket launchers and prostitutes. The whole “I’m done with crime” schtick is a little lazy/futile but when they pull you back in, they pull you back in! You might as well burn a few cars and incite a few riots while you’re at it.
