Gold Coast Woman Discovers Dead Mouse in Rice Paper Roll

Because the internet lurches ever forward, demanding fresh viral content, we are delighted and disgusted to bring you the story of a dead mouse that allegedly found its way into a Gold Coast woman’s rice paper roll.

News Limited report that, late yesterday, the woman in question bought the delicious Asian-inspired snack from Woolworths, but upon biting into it – “on second bite”, just to clear that up – she became aware of something furry.
Anyway, you clicked on this post because you wanted to see a dead mouse, right? Like, you’re telling yourself maybe you don’t, but you know you’re going to scroll down anyway and take a look, then wish you hadn’t.
You ready? Okay then, start scrolling …
Here it comes, guys …
Almost time for the money shot …
There you have it. After seeing this dead mouse in a rice paper roll, please indicate whether you feel:

a) Better

b) Worse
c) The same
d) Nothing
Gold Coast Health authorities have refused to comment on #rodentgate, while Woolies issued a terse statement saying that if the rodent was indeed inside the roll, they have “no reason to believe” it happened inside their store.
“She was mortified and I was fuming,” the woman’s daughter said after the fact. “It’s like it’s been planted because they hand-make those things – how can a whole animal be inside it?”
It is no understatement to say that this story has mildly piqued the nation’s interest during an otherwise boring workday, causing it to turn to its workmates and say ‘eww, check this out’ or maybe ‘lol, I’m never eating one of these again!’
