Heads Up Gold Coast, You’re Scoring A Disney+ Drive-In Cinema Just In Time For Snuggle Season

Giddy up Gold Coast — it’s your turn to pile into the car and head down to the Disney+ Drive-In. After successful runs in Sydney and Melbourne, it’s time for all you northerners to soak in all the nostalgic films and action vibes at your very own outdoor cinema.

The Disney+ Drive-In isn’t just a regular drive-in though, it’s a cool drive-in. Eats will be hand-delivered to your car courtesy of DoorDash — all you have to do is download the DoorDash app, pop in your location and order to have your food and snacked sashayed to your car window.

Presented by Openair Cinemas, the fun is kicking off on 9 May with movies from all the usual Disney+ suspects (including their newest recruit, Star). That translates to you snuggling up in the comfort of your own car watching Pretty Woman, Titanic, or even Moana.

The Disney+ Drive-In is launching with a strong contender for best movie of all time, 10 Things I Hate About You, but there’ll also be goodies like 28 Days Later and The Simpsons Movie screening over the course of the three weeks. We’ve dropped the full line-up for you below so you can start planning your night out now.
