‘Go Back To Where You Came From’ Is Back Tonight, With Bigots Aplenty

We’re a bit over halfway through 2015, but Australia already has some strong contenders for Reality TV Villain Of The Year. There’s Masterchef‘s John Carasig, who continually sabotaged everybody around him with his white chocolate bullshit creations
Then we have Pettifleur Berenger, who tormented the other Real Housewives Of Melbourne and traumatised any salesperson who got in her way, including a Bentley dealer who learned a little too much about her genital waxing preferences.
Who could forget Darren and Deanne Jolly, who whinged and complained their way through another riveting season of The Block, AND walked away with a record amount of prize money into the bargain?
Of course, there’s dark horse entry Pete Evans, My Kitchen Rules  judge, behind the scenes tantrum-thrower, baby bone broth pusher, and source of endless angst for the nutritionists who line up to tear him a new one.
All those other basic bitches had better watch their backs, though, because Go Back To Where You Came From returns tonight, Kim Vuga is coming to blow them all out of the water.
The SBS series follows six “ordinary” Aussies – all of whom, BY SHEER COINCIDENCE, have highly controversial and Tweet-able things to say on the subject of immigration – as they follow the paths taken by asylum seekers,

Ahead of the show’s three-episode run, SBS have released a series of clips introducing us to this year’s participants, and the self-described ‘Stop The Boats’ activist is clearly the breakout star.
In the below clip, she declares that Australia is already under attack, and cackles “see what happens to the bleeding hearts” as detention centre whistleblower Nicole pukes into choppy waters off the side of a boat.

The show has yet to begin, but Vuga has already made a name for herself – this very week, she branded Jimmy Barnes a “disgrace” because he refused to let his music be used in a Reclaim Australia rally.

Go Back To Where You Came From looks as rivetingly hate-watchable as ever this year, and is already controversial, with a security expert saying that the production put Vuga and friends “at risk” by sending them to a Syrian war zone to be shot at by IS.
Of course, Kim is just one of six people on the show, and there are plenty of others who could conceivably snatch her villain crown. There’s Andrew, the school teacher with a Turn Back The Boats boner:
Then, of course, you have feuding sisters Jodi and Renee.
The action kicks off tonight at 8:30pm on SBS, and continues through Wednesday and Thursday. What wondrous memes and hashtags will it inspire?
