Ginger Spice Confirmed To Replace Scary On ‘Australia’s Got Talent’

Last night in an A Current Affair exclusive, Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell performed a pleasingly proficient impersonation of Mel B and confirmed she will be joining the judging panel on Channel Nine’s coming season of Australia’s Got Talent.

Geri will join fellow judging import British comedy luminary Dawn French, double-threat Australian event attendee Timomatic who previously placed in but did not win the very show he will be a judge for, and the final panelist Kyle Sandilands.

So, our local representatives for a talent search are a former reality television contestant and the Australian entertainment industry’s great shame. Ugh Channel Nine. Whatever it is you’re doing, you’re doing it wrong.

Nine had initially announced that Ginger’s home girl Mel B was to be the marquee judge for the 2013 season, but she was banned from the series when Channel 7 won a Supreme Court injunction against Scary for breaching her X Factor Australia contract.
