While The Bachelor Australia has just kicked off and we’re all ridiculously invested in that right now, it’s my duty as a spicy bitch who lives for drama to tell you all about some US Bachelorette-related goss because it’s GOOD.

Basically, the 15h (!) season of The Bachelorette just wrapped up last week in America and in the July 30 finale, viewers saw Hannah Brown choose Jed Wyatt over fan fave Tyler Cameron (also known as “Tyler C” because of course there was another Tyler on the show, it’s America after all). Jed proposed to Hannah and it was all very standard Bachie stuff.
But shockingly, in a truly fucked turn of events, it was revealed in the post-finale After The Final Rose special that Jed was in a relationship when he was on the show, and as a result, he and Hannah had broken off their engagement. Just some spectacular fuckboy areas there. Clearly regretting her decision to go with Jed instead of Tyler C, on the reunion special Hannah asked Tyler on a date and he said yes and the entire nation went “Awww!”

They went on this date, and Tyler C was snapped leaving her house the next morning, so it seems the rendezvous went very well indeed. But there is a slight spanner in the works of this romantic reality TV story. And that spanner is supermodel Gigi Hadid.
Yep, root rat Tyler C also happens to be dating Gigi, having also been snapped leaving the model’s apartment after dates this past week. It’s got the whole country divided. Even Lindsay bloody Lohan has weighed in with this sly “Teamhannah” comment.
Hannah spoke to ET to share her feelings on Tyler’s dates with Geeg, and while she’s not entirely thrilled she definitely cops to the fact that they’re both single and can do what they want.
I have feelings, but I’m also single and he’s single and I wanna keep my options open and he can keep his options open. We are trying to figure out how we feel.
Adding yet ANOTHER spanner to the works is the fact that Tyler C is also apparently the frontrunner to be the next Bachelor. Hannah told ET:
I don’t know where he’s at with wanting to be the Bachelor. I think he has his options open as well, and if the Bachelor is one of those options, then I guess I’ll support him if that’s what he wants to do.
Look, it doesn’t sound like Hannah’s super stoked with the idea of Tyler being the star of The Bachelor, but just going to gently point out that she didn’t choose him when she had the chance so she doesn’t really have a leg to stand on here.
