Paul Rudd & Finn Wolfhard Form A Spirit-Killing Team In 1st ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Trailer

The first trailer for the umpteenth Ghostbusters flick has just dropped and lemme tell ya, there’s definitely something strange in the neighbourhood.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife follows a single mother and her two children as they move to Oklahoma after they inherit a mysterious property, so… basically Amityville Horror, but make it funny.

Said mother is played by The Sinner star Carrie Coon and her kiddies are played by newcomers Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) and Mckenna Grace (Haunting of Hill House).

Interesting to note that all three lead cast members have starred in majorly successful Netflix series, all of which have some kind of ~spooky~ element to them, which makes them perfect for the gig.

The flick also stars the divine Paul Rudd as something of an advisor to Wolfhard’s character.

Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver – stars of the original film – are due to make cameo appearances which will be a fun vibe for the die-hard Ghostbusters fandom (yep, that’s a thing).

Based on the 1984 supernatural comedy, Ghostbusters: Afterlife is directed by Jason Reitman – the son of Ivan Reitman, director of the first two films.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is scheduled to be released in Oz on July 2, 2020.
