Get Amongst The 2015 Blogster Award Nominees: Music, Tech, Culture Category

Another day, another dollar. Another year, another awards ceremony. Pedestrian’s teamed up with Intel to once again highlight the sublime talent of Australia’s blogosphere. The competition this year is on a whole new level – pitting the best-of-the best against each other. With the help of Intel, we’re curating content that’ll explore all things blogging. This will include things like tips on how to create your own platform, and how to deal with the h8rs. Get keen, y’all. It’s set to be, like, the best year yet (here’s hoping).

The Design Files

The Design Files journey began in early 2008, and after being named one of the world’s top 50 design blogs by The Times (UK) in 2009, it snowballed into the design destination it is today. Founded by editor Lucy Feagins, the site covers Australian design in all its forms, from architecture and interiors to food, fine art, craft and gardens. The finer things in life, basically.

The Design Kids
Beginning as a shop that gave students the opportunity to sell their wares while studying, The Design Kids soon blossomed into a stunning online graphic design hub. Founded by Frankie Ratford in 2009, The Design Kids quickly became the beautiful missing puzzle piece in the graphic design community, connecting students and industry across Australia and New Zealand.

Who The Hell
Who The Hell began as Who The Bloody Hell Are They in 2006, written by Jerry Soer and Dom Alessio (of triple j Home and Hosed fame). Now led by an incredible team of writers and photographers, it is one of Australia’s top music blogs, focusing on the local music scene and awesome up-and-coming acts. Their photo essays alone transport us to all the festivals we couldn’t afford to attend, and for that we are eternally grateful.
