Virginia Robinson, Who Played Garol On ‘Broad City’, Has Passed Away

Sad news for those of you attempting to head to North Brother Island to collect a package for your hot neighbour – the original delivery of which you missed because you were out buying too many condoms in preparation for successfully getting the package and therefore making them realise that you were hot as hell. Virginia Robinson, who played the ornery, yoghurt-loving Garol on Broad City, has sadly passed away.

Broad City‘s official Instagram page posted the sad news a few hours ago, confirming the actor (age unknown) had recently passed away.

We recently received the very sad news that Virginia Robinson, the incredible and hilarious actress who played Garol has passed away. It’s safe to say that very few performances have brought us as much joy (and tears streaming down our face) as hers. She will be missed.

Robinson appeared as Garol in three episodes of Broad City, beginning with a memorable, show-stealing turn in season one’s Working Girls as the lone clerk in the most bizarre and remote mail routing station in the known world.

Robinson appeared in three subsequent episodes of the show: season two’s Hashtag FOMO, and season four’s Just the Tips.

Beyond that, Robinson – who began her acting career much later in life – had a credited appearance on a 2016 episode of Inside Amy Schumer.

Rest in peace, Garol. Thanks for all the laughs.
