The ‘Game Of Thrones’ Doco Has A Trailer And Everyone Feels Like You Do

Within three seconds, the trailer for Game of Thrones: The Last Watch shows actor Kit Harington in a state of shock. His brow furrows as he places his hand to his mouth. His eyes narrow behind round glasses. It’s as emotive as anything he’s filmed for the fantasy epic.

Next to him sits Sophie Turner, whose own expression says just as much: her bright smile vanishes as she looks at Harington. Perhaps cameras caught the moment she realised that no, Harington isn’t having the greatest time during one of the final Game of Thrones table reads. Perhaps that’s when the reality set in.

At least, that’s one interpretation of the trailer, which heralds the arrival of a two-hour documentary chronicling the production of the show’s finale.

Across a minute of behind-the-scenes footage and snippets of conversation with the folks who made the HBO series come to fruition, fans can peek at the hard work which went into the show’s last stand.

Diehards can also clock the expression of actor Conleth Hill, who has had some, uh, interesting things to say about the endgame role of his character Varys.

Game of Thrones: The Last Watch will rock up on HBO on May 26, after Game of Thrones‘ final episode goes to air.
