Game of Thrones might be the most secretive show in history, but even HBO can’t hide its most valuable asset from the public forever, not when there are thousands of people on the hunt for clues at any given second.
A passerby to the Game of Thrones set in Belfast spotted a huge, enourmous, game-changing season eight spoiler.
Are you sure you want to see this?
This is what he spotted: Winterfell is burning. That shit is lit up like a birthday cake. The ancestral home of the Starks is going up in FLAMES.
The huge nerds (endearingly so) over at Watchers on the Wall reckon this means that “Winterfall will fall.” To be fair, it’s already been burnt at least once before, by Ramsay‘s men, and it seemed to recover just fine.
But these are huge, engulfing flames. And it’s the final season.

George R.R. Martin always warned that the ending to his epic tale would be “bittersweet”, and burning the home of our original protagonists would achieve just that. Peter Dinklage said it would be “heartbreaking.” Well guess what, my heart is broken.
See you in 2019 for some hardcore emotional damage.
