Fury As Christina Grimmie’s Posthumous Teen Choice Award Left Out Of Show

Christina Grimmie has won a posthumous Teen Choice Awards at the 2016 ceremony today in California, but fans are furious that she went unmentioned during the ceremony.
The singer, who was murdered in a tragic shooting earlier this year had been nominated twice before. It was allegedly a dream of the young singer’s to win a Teen Choice Award.
Her former manager Brian Teefey tweeted from Christina‘s account, asking her fans for support so Grimmie could finally win the award she’d always wanted: the Choice Music Web Star award.

But her triumphant win after her tragic death has been overshadowed by the heavy rage of her fans, due to the fact that Grimmie was used in advertisements for the awards, but her win was not televised, and she was apparently not actually mentioned during ceremony at all:

Grimmie was 22 years old when she was shot and killed by a fan during an autograph signing following a performance at The Plaza in June this year.
There’s been no statement from the Teen Choice Awards at this current time.
