Fuller House, the millennial reboot of ’80s sit-com Full House, won the award for Favourite Funny TV Show at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards over the weekend and while none of the older gen of actors, including the disgraced Lori Loughlin, were in attendance, the kids-turned-parents accepted the award on behalf of the cast.

Candace Cameron-BureJodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber gave a passionate speech about their long-running series and low-key gave a nod to the drama that the world knows is going down behind-the-scenes.

“You’ve been laughing alongside our family for four seasons,” Barber began as they accepted the award. “And this family has a lot of heart.”

Cameron-Bure then chimed in, “And where there’s a lot of heart, there’s a lot of love,” she said, hinting at their adoration for Loughlin.

“And a loving family sticks together no matter what. They stick together through the hard times, they support each other, they encourage one another, they pray for each other, and they stand by their side, no matter how tough it gets.”

Cameron-Bure concluded her heartfelt message: “And a loving family that sticks together also celebrates the really good times together.”

Earlier this month, Loughlin was arrested and later released on a $1 million bond over the college admissions scandal.

The real-life Aunty Becky was subsequently ditched by Lifetime and her daughter Olivia Jade has lost several of her lucrative endorsement deals as a result.

An insider told Us Weekly that Olivia “blames her mum and dad for the downfall of her career”, adding:

“Now that her endorsement deals have fallen through, she is very upset with her parents. Olivia didn’t even show interest in going to college, she wanted to take time and work on her beauty career, but her parents were the ones who wanted her to get an education.”
