
Bob Saget, a veteran stand up comedy performer most famous for playing the sleep deprived patriarch on the ABC family sitcom and Olsen twin launchpad Full House, has today been announced as headline act for the tenth annual Sydney Comedy Festival.
The actor, comedian and television host who also provides the smug voice of the future Ted Mosby on How I Met Your Mother, will be joined by Australian comedy circuit veterans including Jim Jefferies, Stephen K Amos, Jimeoin, Effie, Wil Anderson, Dave Hughes, Alex Williamson, Heath Franklin’s Chopper, Sammy J & Randy, and Chris Taylor & Andrew Hansen.
The Sydney Comedy Festival will play out in multiple venues across the city from April 22nd to May 17th next year and will also include The Empire Strikes Back: A Star Wars Burlesque Parody, and traditional group highlights the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala and Cracker Night.
Saget’s show, ‘Bob Saget Live – The Dirty Daddy Tour’, will also be performed in Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne.
