Remember When Friends Cast Took A Reunion Selfie & Fans Thought They Saw Lines Of Party Powder?

The Friends reunion has arrived and naturally, everyone’s feeling nostalgic. But in addition to the iconic scenes, quotes, and hair-dos, there’s another huge moment in Friends history that I can’t stop thinking about: that time when they reunited for a selfie and people thought they were doing fat lines of cocaine.

Back in October 2019, the Friends cast broke the internet by reuniting and sharing a group piccy to Instagram, via Jennifer Aniston.

“And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM,” Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green on the beloved series, captioned her first post on the ‘gram.

Shortly after the pic went live (and subsequently viral), folks noticed something that could potentially be suss in the photo.

If you zoom in on the selfie, it would appear that there’s a big white slug of something on the phone that’s sitting on the table.

Observe, fellow Friends fans:

There’s snow business like snow business.

The internet immediately became flooded with comments from shocked Friends fans who were absolutely howling at the spot.

None of the attending Friends cast members, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow or Jennifer Aniston, have ever addressed the controversy or confirmed or denied what the actual fuck that is on that bloody iPhone, so we may never know what happened there, but, of course, the internet has its theories.

It reminds me of that time the Spice Girls reunited ahead of their tour (yes, including Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham), and a similar pic was taken.

Which begs the question, would famous folk really be stupid enough to post photos that clearly have fat rails of party powder in the background?

Also, when you’re that famous, surely you’d opt for a sleek-looking plate, rather than doing it on an iPhone like you’re holed up in a nightclub bathroom.

Plus, if the pics were that viral and incriminating, as if either iconic ’90s squad wouldn’t have promptly deleted the post? But then again, that would’ve made it seem more suss, aye?

Hm…

Anyway, the Friends reunion is now on Binge, if ya wanna suss it out.
