Despite the 2012 release date for The Dark Knight Rises, director Christopher Nolan‘s third and final installment of his Batman film trilogy, there’s already been plenty of buzz surrounding the movie. Warner Brothers have decided to add a little fuel to the fire by releasing the first image of Tom Hardy as Bane, the highly intelligent, multilingual supervillain from the Batman comic books. Tom Hardy sure knows how to fill out a rubber suit.
We’re now more intrigued than ever to see Anne Hathaway in the Catwoman suit.
The Dark Knight Rises is slated for international release on July 20, 2012.
