FIRST LOOK: 7’s New Car Crash ‘Kiss Bang Love’ Is Just Strangers Makin’ Out

Say what you want about Channel Seven‘s recent string of programming decisions, but for whatever reason it’s bloody well working.

Hot on the heels of such “quality” “entertainment” offerings as ‘First Dates and ‘Seven Year Switch‘ comes the latest profoundly heteronormative relationship experiment ‘Kiss Bang Love.’
The premise of the show, like the others, is reasonably simple: Blindfold a person, and then have a parade of other blindfolded people enter the room and dive straight in for the hot pash. No talking. No other communication. Total strangers. The idea being that a date or relationship can be formed purely on physical chemistry and nothing else.
Seven sent us through a first sneak peek at the series today, and there’s no huge surprises to be had. It’s goods as advertised in so much as the advertised goods are “blindfolded people mashing their tongues together.”

Interesting psychosocial experiment into the nature of human relationships and our constant quest to overcomplicate them? Or more zoo-like entertainment to placate the braying masses?
YOU BE THE JUDGE.
Kiss Bang Love is scheduled to hit the airwaves “soon.” Expect it before the year’s out.
