We Finally Know The Deal With Bruno Mars’ Mystery Grammys Guest

It’s fair to say that Bruno Mars had a pretty epic night at the Grammys. The Uptown Funk singer ripped through the ceremony like a tornado, scooping up awards in all seven categories he was nominated for including Song of the Year and Album of the Year.

But it wasn’t just his sultry smile or luscious curls that captured everyone’s attention. His eclectic entourage had the internet wondering who the bloody hell was on stage with him, and just how did they get there.

So, who exactly is that lady in the back sporting a killer set of pearls? Well, that’s actually Mary-Kay Coyne, the wife of Bruno’s late sound engineer Tom Coyne.

Coyne unfortunately succumbed to his battle with cancer earlier this year. He’s credited with being the master engineer behind Bruno’s Album of the Year winning record 24K Magic. He’d also won awards working with heavy-hitters like AdeleSam Smith and Taylor Swift.

On stage, Bruno thanked all the people in his life who inspired him as a child.

“That’s all I wanted to bring with this album and hopefully I could feel that again and see everybody dancing and everybody moving. So I would like to dedicate this award to them, they are my heroes. They are my teachers, they laid the foundation,” he said.

Hats off to Bruno for a bloody beautiful gesture… and try not to drop any Grammys on your way home.
