In their infinite wisdom (no sarco) your mates at FX have kindly decided to renew Louie for season five and Fargo for season two.
Louie will be back for the US Spring season (2015) with seven episodes and, just so you know, “Louie’s fourth season was once again groundbreaking.” According to John Landgraf, CEO of FX Networks & FX Productions, the show will be “sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking — always thought provoking.”
“The show went to narrative and cinematic places no comedy has gone before and we look forward to seeing what Louis comes up with next,” he said.
As for Fargo, Noah Hawley’s miniseries adaption of the Coen’s film will be returning to the small screen with ten episodes featuring a fresh set of actors and a brand new crime mystery to Cluedo over. Expect it sometime after the US Autumn season and, once again according to old mate John Landgraf, let it be know that they “could not be more proud of ‘Fargo.”
“Noah’s audacious, bordering on hubristic riff on my favorite Coen brothers film earned 18 Emmy nominations – the most for a single program in our history. ‘Fargo’ was nothing short of breathtaking and we look forward to the next instalment,” he said. Noah’s and John’s hubris aside, ~PUMPED FOR BOTH~
