You might think a couple who mutually parted ways after a failed reality television marriage played out in front of the entire nation months ago might let sleeping dogs lie; you know, move on with their lives *away* from the spotlight.

Not ‘Married At First Sight’ alum Nicole Heir and Craig Keller, who are currently engaged in a bitter stoush after she made fresh claims of his allegedly “abusive” behaviour towards producers during filming.
If you’re in need of a refresher, during one ep of S3, Nicole went off her rocker when Keller came home pretty worse for wear after a night out on the piss with mates. She now says his behaviour was far more disturbing off-screen, telling news.com.au she left their shared apartment to stay at friend’s place because he got so aggro.
“He was off work on compo [worker’s compensation] so he’d been taking strong pain relief [medication] … with alcohol and no sleep,” Nicole explained. “I came home from work and the house was a pigsty, there was smashed glass… he’d been drinking all day.”
Nicole says she asked producers if they should cancel a dinner party they’d planned for some of Keller’s mates that night, telling them “he’s obviously not well”, which they reluctantly did. But she left their place to stay at a friend’s for the weekend regardless, claiming she “didn’t feel safe” around her faux-husband.
The Gold Coast school teacher also alleges that one of the show’s producers “actually got threatened by him [Keller] that night as well… he was really disrespectful and abusive.”
But Keller himself has wasted no time hitting back, slamming Nicole’s claims as “straight up lies from someone who can’t move on with their unhappy life.”
“After over a year these destructive claims are made that are so untrue just so she can keep her nose in the spotlight,” he posted to Instagram with a screengrab of the news.com.au story. “This mentally destroys people just so someone can make a dollar.”
He’s now dating a woman named Katie Martin, who he reckons is the love of his life.
“I have moved on from the show and the person I was matched with for good reason and I couldn’t be happier.”

Buckle up, because the fallout from this faux-marriage is about to get bumpy.
