From writer and director Alex Gleeson (Sunshine, 28 Days Later) comes his directorial debut Ex Machina, a film that looks like it’s shaping up to be your new favourite addition to the sci-fi canon as well as being a vehicle that promises to further diversify the IMDb credentials of the Weasley family’s most promising son, Domnhall Gleeson.
Also starring Oscar Isaac – who’ll again star alongside Gleeson in Star Wars VII – as a reclusive Internet search giant CEO and Alicia Vikander as his unnerving AI progeny, Ex Machina is slated for cinematic released in April 2015 and looks positively creepy.
