You Can Watch The Royal Wedding In A Cinema With Other Monarchy Dorks If Yr Keen

If you want to see people who are wealthier than you will ever be get married, and you want to do that on the largest screen possible – you’re in luck. The royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is coming to a cinema near you. No, really.

Event Cinemas announced today that they’ll be live screening the royal wedding across the nation, in 39 of their cinemas.

It’s a total ~affair~, of course – there’s prizes for best dressed, there’s alcohol in some venues, and I’m almost sure there will be plenty of royal-obsessives that cry. In short – A BLOODY GOOD TIME.

Tickets are $10, or you can splurge on one of the “Royal Packages”, which start at $20 and include a ticket to the show plus two candy bar items. Because you cannot get through this without a choc top and a glass of sparkling.

Cinemas participating are:

NSW: George Street, Macquarie, Burwood, Liverpool, Castle Hill, Bondi, Miranda, Parramatta, Campbelltown, Hornsby, Tuggerah, Top Ryde, Hurstville, Kotara, Shellharbour, Beverly Hills, Coffs Harbour.

ACT: Manuka

SA: Marion, Arndale

QLD: Chermside, Indooroopilly, Garden City, Pacific Fair, Robina, Myer Centre, Cairns Central, Townsville Centre, Maroochydore, Southport, Morayfield,  Mackay North, Toowoomba Strand, Rockhampton, Noosa

WA: Innaloo, Whitford, Morley.

Sadly, VIC hasn’t made the cut – maybe you guys think you’re too cool for a live screening of the royal wedding? Pssssht. MELBOURNE. Always thinking you’re ~too cool~ for us plebs.
