Memes? Love ’em.
Love to share relatable content amongst my close friends, it’s a real good time.
You know what’s a bad time though? Acting out the dumb shit joked about in memes, such as the current ~trend~ spurned from memery: the chowing down on poisonous detergent pods.
Known due to the popular brand in the states, the Tide Pod meme started off as a pisstake surrounding the weird urge you have to eat shiny, gooey looking substances, but because the internet is a fkn joke sometimes, people have actually started ingesting the, again, straight up human poison, on camera.
WOOOOW DO NOT DO THIS HEY?
Anyway, somehow the Tide Pod meme has turned into the Tide Pod challenge, and it’s getting so out of hand that YouTube have had to announce they will be pulling down any and all videos that contain this kinda shit:
YouTube’s Community Guidelines prohibit content that’s intended to encourage dangerous activities that have an inherent risk of physical harm. We work to quickly remove flagged videos that violate our policies.
Stick to photoshopping dank imagery and keep poisons out of your mouth ok?
