On the two year anniversary of hit coming of age HBO Max series Euphoria, its lead star Zendaya has shared a sneak peek at the highly anticipated season 2.
The short 30-second wordless teaser zooms in on Zendaya’s character, Rue, as she grins which, as Euphoria stans know, is unlike the gal.
Season 1 ended with Zendaya’s Rue trying hard to avoid a relapse, while her character’s best friend Jules (Hunter Schafer) gives therapy a go.
“Happy 2 year @euphoria anniversary…see you soon:)” she wrote on Instagram.
No official date has been given for Euphoria’s second season just yet, so honestly, those 30 seconds of footage are an absolute blessing and a reminder that good things are coming.
Back in March, the official Euphoria Twitter revealed that the cast had returned to work on the drama series.
“here we go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!” they wrote.

Zendaya and Hunter Schaffer are joined by Jacob Elordi as Nate Jacobs, Sydney Sweeney as Cassie Howard, Maude Apatow as Lexi Howard, Barbie Ferreira as Kat Hernandez, Alexa Demie as Maddy Perez, Angus Cloud as Fezco, Storm Reid as Gia Bennett, and Eric Dane as Cal Jacobs.
In an interview with InStyle magazine, Zendaya described Euphoria season 2 as “beautiful.”
“I do miss Rue. She’s like my little sister in a lot of ways. And going back to that character is a home base for me,” the actress said.
“There is a beautiful second season that has been written, but in order to do it the way we want to do it, we need to wait until it’s safer.”
Can’t bloody wait!
