The latest trailer is out for Deliver Us From Evil, an upcoming horror flick starring our one and only Eric Bana.
It wasn’t long ago that Bana was the highlight of Full Frontal (the pinnacle of Australian television comedy) with his reoccurring character Peter. Poida, as he was more affectionately known, was just your average Aussie bloke and TV host on Community Television’s Channel 31. With a penchant for cigarettes, VB and Jimmy Barnes, Poida tackled some tough news stories including the French nuclear testing in the “specific” and even took the time out of his busy schedule to read ‘Story Time’ for the kids.
Bana is now trying to scare the living crap out of us in Deliver Us From Evil, which will see him play an Irish Catholic NYPD detective who, while working on a murder case, runs into a renegade priest who believes demonic elements may be involved. Produced by the makers of Sinister, it looks stupidly scary.
