Holy shit. Smash your desks and invest in ranch dressing, ’cause the reigning fucking lord of alt-comedy Eric Andre is bringing his fine self to Australia.
The host and anarchic possessing spirit of Adult Swim’s eponymous The Eric Andre Show will be terrorising Sydney and Melbourne at the tail end of this year, with a coupla of solo stand-up shows in each of those fine cities.
If the Australian Immigration Department deems it fit to allow the bloke onto our shores, that is. There’s essentially an archive of footage demonstrating why he shouldn’t really be allowed near regular humans, but goddamn, we’re stoked regardless.
He’ll be hitting up / traumatising Melbourne’s The Comedy Lounge on Wednesday December 7 and Thursday December 8, and Sydney can expect to be violated at The Comedy Store on Friday December 9 and Saturday December 10.
Worth noting: his tour comes just a few days after his show’s straight-man co-host Hannibal Buress’ own Aussie tour. Also worth noting: the Melb shows are 18+, and if you’re under that age for the Syd gigs, you’ll need a “responsible” legal guardian to accompany you. December is going to be weird, fam.
