The 62nd Prime time Emmy Awards are under way. The increasingly high quality of television writing and roles has drawn some of the most prolific actors back to the small screen over the last few years; so these days the Emmy’s red carpet is pretty exciting – especially compared to back in the day when the only real ‘celebrities’ on television were Jerry Seinfeld, Jonathan Taylor Thomas and the cast of ‘Beverly Hills 90210’. This year’s red carpet fashion choices provided a combination of the usual: amazing bodies, bad hair, beige choices and Christina Hendricks gobsmacking breasts.
Anna Paquin – Alexander McQueen

January Jones – Atelier Versace
January Jones doesn’t work with a stylist and I applaud her steely nerves. Unfortunately if you make the bold decision to wear a dress resembling a wedding cake accessory dipped in tampon ad dye, you should brush your hair to ensure no one thinks you’re an actual crazy person. And the black pumps don’t go. J-Jo’s choices fill me with turmoil.
Claire Danes – Armani Privé
It’s a safe choice that we’ve seen a hundred times before but Claire Danes does look amazing in this beaded couture strapless gown despite having clearly been doused in Natural Glow.
Jon Hamm – Georgio Armani
