Emma Stone just got engaged to her boyfriend ‘Saturday Night Live’ segment director boyfriend Dave McCary.
The couple – who have been dating since 2017 – announced the engagement on Instagram, with Emma flashing a beaut of a rock that appears to be a pearl-and-diamond situation.
Emma, unlike almost every other major celeb in 2019, does not have Instagram, so the obligatory couple-with-ring shot came via Dave’s account. He captioned it with a heart. This is extremely cute shit.
So the story goes – and neither Emma nor Dave have confirmed this – the pair met at SNL in 2016. Dave even directed his now-fiancee in the sketch “Wells For Boys”, which is one hell of a meet-cute.
Anyway, congrats to the couple! Please invite us to the wedding. And if not, please invite lots of people who will post photos to their Instagram stories so it feels like we were there, ya know?
