Emma Stone might be a lot of things – actor, hilarious person, ace lip syncer, Spice Girls superfan – but one thing she is absolutely not is a liar. Even when it’s in the name of light-hearted entertainment or filling time on a chat show.
Jimmy Fallon‘s recurring Box of Lies segment usually hosts fibbers slightly more adept at verbal deception, but every once in a while it’s nice to have someone on there whose truthiness is indefatigable.
So whilst Stone might have wiped the floor with Fallon in a lip syncing battle during a previous visit to The Tonight Show, it’s Fallon who had the last and loudest laugh in this particular round.
Mind you with all that said, the Instruction Card Salamander would’ve been a belter had Fallon not easily cornered her into revealing her tell.
Sometimes it’s comforting to know you’ll never forge a career as a poker player, y’know?
