Emile Hirsch (of the spellbinding Into The Wild and the darkly funny Killer Joe) has reportedly signed on to play the leading role in a biopic based on the life of iconic American comedian, actor and Blues Brother John Belushi.
The film is set to be written and directed by Steve Conrad, who wrote the upcoming Ben Stiller fantasy-drama The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty. Hirsch apparently won the Belushi role over Workaholics’ Adam Devine.
Hirsch is great, but as Belushi? To be honest, I just don’t see it.
