Ellen DeGeneres loves to prank people – her guests, her wife, people she makes famous from one YouTube video. But then, so does one Justin Timberlake.
And, as she found out when his wife Jessica Biel appeared on her show, you can’t bullshit a bullshitter.
Ellen was discussing recent speculation the A-listers are expecting a sibling for their 1-year-old son Silas after photos of him grazing her friggin’ stomach with his hand at a recent Lakers game went bananas, and decided it’d be a real good time if she surprised JT with the exciting news Jess is preggo (she’s not.)
After hijacking Jess’phone and asking what he was up to (making sweet potato fries with their little boy, “the king of the house”, if you care), Ellen dropped the ‘bombshell’ that he’d soon be making fries for two.
“Guess what? Not only is they’re going to be a king of the house,” Ellen said. “There’s gonna be a queen of the house. We’re here to tell you.”
“Surprise!,” piped up Jess, probably inwardly cursing herself for giving his number to show producers.
JT didn’t take the bait – not even a lil’ bit – replying with exactly zero enthusiasm,“Oh.”
“Why aren’t you excited?!”, Ellen pushed.“Well I can’t wait to find out whose it is,” shot back JT.
Is that his subtle way of saying they’re not boning enough as he’d like to? WDK, but you can watch the prank-fallen-flat below.
