Maze Runner star and all round sweetheart Dylan O’Brien has been spotted by a couple of lucky fans in Brisbane over the weekend. Turns out, he’s in the country to film a new movie.

The flick is called Monster Problems and very much sounds like a hybrid of Teen Wolf and Maze Runner which sounds perfect for O’Brien.
According to The Courier Mail, the film’s plot actually leaked online a little while back and will apparently centre on a young man named Joel who lives in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monsters. To escape whatever the hell is out there, Joel lives in a bunker with about 30 other people, who are all in relationships. But once a day for a few minutes, he’s able to use a device to speak to a girl named Aimee. The only problem is, Aimee lives in another bunker about 50km away.
Of course, Joel decides to risk it all for love and find Aimee.
Michael Matthews (Five Fingers for Marseilles) is directing the film and Shawn Levy (Stranger Things, The Arrival, Night at the Museum) is producing. Brian Duffield (Insurgent, Jane Got a Gun) penned the script.

The film crew are reportedly in the country for the first half of this year so there’s still plenty of time to coincidentally run into the man.
