Dwayne Johnson Is Ready To End His Feud With Fellow ‘Fast’ Dad Vin Diesel

The long-simmering feud between Fast & Furious franchise co-stars Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel may be coming to an end, with fans speculating at the possibility that they may even appear in the tenth Fast film together.

The pair famously fell out in 2016, during production of The Fate Of The Furious, when Johnson dubbed a number of his male co-stars as “candy asses” and said that their behaviour left his blood “boiling” while filming.

Judging by a recent Instagram post, though, he seems keen to try and patch things up. Overnight, Johnson shared a video, voicing his appreciation for the success of the spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, and singling his former co-star out for thanks.

“I want to thank brother Vin for your support of Hobbs & Shaw. I saw your post,” he said, adding:

“What a wild ride this has been. Ten years ago, when you and I spoke and you invited me into the Fast & Furious family. I’m grateful for that invite. As you know, my goals was always, all these years, to come into the Fast & Furious world and help elevate the franchise in any way that I possibly could. If I could do that, then I’ve done my job, and now here we are 10 years later, this massively successful build-out and expansion. We did it the right way, we did it the smart way, and again, brother, I appreciate your support.”

He finished things off by saying: “And of course, all roads lead to one thing. I’ll be seeing you soon, Toretto.”

Dwayne Johnson joined the beloved film series for Fast 5The ninth instalment is currently filming, and is due for release next year, with Charlize TheronHelen Mirren and Nathalie Emmanuel co-starring alongside Diesel.

Though Johnson is not a part of the cast this time, this post has led to speculation that his character Hobbs may be end up being snuck into some kind of post-credits sequence, and may even be back for the tenth.
