Donald Trump, of Home Alone 2 and Zoolander fame, has written to the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) to resign from the union, which represents radio, tv and film personalities in the US.

In a lengthy letter, the former president said he is very proud of his extensive film and television career. And honestly, I can’t blame him because he was far more successful in the Fresh Prince of Bel Air than he was in the White House.

“While I’m not familiar with your work, I’m very proud of my work on movies such as Home Alone 2, Zoolander and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps; and television shows including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saturday Night Live, and of course, one of the most successful shows in television history, The Apprentice – to name just a few,” he wrote to the president of the Screen Actors Guild.

Throughout the remainder of the letter, he credits himself with basically saving the cable news television business, you know, because he increased the need for reporters to fact check the absolute bullshit he spewed every day.

“I’ve also greatly helped the cable news television business (said to be a dying platform with not much time left until I got involved in politics), and created thousands of jobs at networks such as MSDNC and Fake News CNN, among many others,” he said.

At this point, I just need to stress to you all that this is very real. Not a joke. A legitimate letter that the former president sent SAG-AFTRA.

Here, take a gander at the full transcript:

“Which brings me to your blatant attempt at free media attention to distract from your dismal record as a union. Your organisation has done little for its members, and nothing for me – besides collecting dues and promoting dangerous un-American policies and ideas – as evident by your massive unemployment rates and lawsuits from celebrated actors, who even recorded a video asking, “Why isn’t the union fighting for me?”

Trump’s letter was in response to a Disciplinary Committee hearing that was due to take place to potentially revoke his membership. So, in what is the biggest dummy spit “you cant fire me, I quit” moment of all time, he simply resigned from the organisation before they could kick him out.

“I no longer wish to be associated with your union. As such, this letter is to inform you of my immediate resignation from SAG-AFTRA. You have done nothing for me,” he wrote.

You truly have to admire the dedication to being by the far the most moronic human being to hold high office in the US in modern history at this point.
