If one of your childhood heroes told you to do something, would you do it? Depends on what it is, I suppose. What if they invited you to their birthday party, and told you that you had to dress up as them? HELL GODDAMN YEAH.
For Halloween, Kylie Jenner dressed up as her teenage hero, Christina Aguilera, during her (most iconic, imho) ‘Dirrty’ phase of the early 00s.
Turns out that Aguilera was such a huge fan of Kylie‘s insanely-good homage, that she actually asked her to repeat the outfit for the singer’s lavish AF 35th birthday party over the weekend.
Kylie & X-Tina even did a cute smooch:
You might notice that Kylie‘s outfit has changed a lil’ since her spot-on OG costume back in October. The rule is, of course, that you NEVER outfit repeat. Never. It is a sin. (We all pray differently, y’know?)
So, rather than once again wear X-Tina‘s hugely influential red and black costume from the actual ‘Dirrty’ video, Jenner instead switched it up, and wore the outfit from the singer’s ‘MTV’s TRL Presents: Christina Aguilera Stripped in NYC 2002’ performance:
