Deyjah Harris, the daughter of rapper T.I., has reportedly unfollowed her dad on Instagram, days after an interview in which he revealed that he checks to see if her hymen is intact.
Last week, the rapper – otherwise known as Clifford Harris Jr – was a guest on the the Ladies Like Us podcast, and talked about how he visits the gynaecologist with his daughter.
After essentially admitting that he pressured her into allowing him access to her consults and medical information, he said that he makes her undergo a yearly examination of her hymen.
The blowback to the comments was pretty severe, and though Deyjah Harris did not respond directly, she did later like some Tweets calling her dad’s behaviour “possessive”, “controlling” and “disgusting.”
Earlier today, someone noticed that she had unfollowed her dad as well as several other family members, further suggesting that she was not happy with his remarks.
Harris himself has not addressed or apologised for his comments, but Ladies Like Us host Nazanin Pimentel took to Instagram with an apology on her own behalf and that of her co-host.

The two were heard laughing somewhat uncomfortably at the remarks, and Pimentel says they were “caught off guard” and “should have reacted much differently in the moment.”
“We support and love women and feel that their bodies are theirs to do as they wish,” she wrote, adding that she and Nadia Moham feel “deeply awful” for their failure to call him out at the time.
