Deuxmoi Reckons People Are Fleeing The Britney Case Due To ‘Scalding’ Upcoming Netflix Doco

Britney Spear‘s court-appointed lawyer has filed his resignation less than 24 hours after her manager also resigned, and rumour has it that this has something to do with Netflix’s spicy new documentary on the #FreeBritney saga.

Larry Rudolph was Britney’s manager for 25 years before he resigned this week, in a letter to Britney’s conservatorship.

“It has been over 2 1/2 years since Britney and I last communicated, at which time she informed me she wanted to take an indefinite work hiatus,” he said in the letter addressed to co-conservators Jamie Spears and Judith Montgomery.

“Earlier today, I became aware that Britney had been voicing her intention to officially retire.

“As her manager, I believe it is in Britney’s best interest for me to resign from her team as my professional services are no longer needed,” he said.

Rudolph’s resignation came not long after Bessemer Trust, who were co-conservators of Britney along with her father, also jumped ship.

Now, Britney’s court-appointed lawyer Samuel D. Ingham III has reportedly filed paperwork to resign from his role – which is a huge deal since he’s been at the centre of Britney’s legal proceedings since 2008, and has been her representative throughout her entire court case with Jamie Spears. The same papers also show that law firm Loeb and Loeb has also withdrawn from her case.

So suddenly, in less than a week, key players in Britney Spear’s conservatorship are all defecting and running for the hills – which to me, looks really fucking suss. This begs the question: what in the ever-loving fuck is going on here?

When I first saw the news, I assumed this was all in response to the growing public pressure after Britney’s speech in open court where she finally confirmed fan theories by alleging that her conservatorship is abusive and controlling.

While the #FreeBritney movement has been around for years now, it was the first time Britney herself had spoken up and directly accused Jamie Spears of abuse. Her speech was heartbreaking (we have the key points she raised listed here), and the world is *finally* listening. Which means things are starting to get very uncomfortable for the people involved in Britney’s alleged abuse.

However, there seems to be another theory as to why everyone is jumping ship.

Celeb gossip giant Deuxmoi has dropped some rumours that the reason people are all trying to ditch Britney’s case is because of the upcoming #FreeBritney Netflix documentary.

The documentary is apparently ‘scalding’, and Deuxmoi seems to be implying that people are trying to disappear from the case before it airs.

At the moment, there isn’t a lot of official information out about Netflix’s Britney Spears documentary. There are reports that Erin Lee Car is directing the project, which would make sense given her experience with other controversial documentaries – including ‘At the Heart of Gold: Inside the USA Gymnastics Scandal‘ about Dr. Larry Nassar‘s abuse of Olympic gymnasts.

There have also been claims that Britney Spears herself was involved with the documentary, but given how little freedom she said she has in her conservatorship, that seems pretty doubtful to me.

Regardless of whether Britney was involved, I’m keen to see this documentary come out – because there’s definitely no shortage of scalding details with the drama around this story, and I want everyone involved outed.
