‘Dead To Me’ Season 2 Is Dropping On Netflix In May & I Have So Many Unanswered Questions

dead to me season 2

We’ve officially got a trailer and a release date for season 2 of Netflix’s beloved Dead To Me, so thank fuck we’ve already cleared our calendars for the foreseeable future.

After the truly wild ending to season 1 of the hit Netflix Originals series, it’s hard to guess exactly where a second season would take us, but by the looks of the trailer, it’s set to be even more insane.

Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini are returning to the screen, seemingly still living together after umm… whatever the fuck happened at the end of season 1.

“We are not in Snow White,” Jen Harding (Applegate) says in the trailer. “We are in fucking Scarface.”

“I’ve never seen that,” Judy Hale (Cardellini) replies.

“Well, neither have I. No girls have,” Harding claps back.

The trailer doesn’t exactly give us a lot to work with, but after the roaring success of season 1, I’m willing to roll with whatever show runner Liz Feldman gives us.

“It will be about the further exploration of this friendship, and relationship, and now very complicated dynamic, or even more complicated dynamic between these two women,” Feldman previously told EW. “What I wanted to do was create a situation where they’re forced together, and they need each other now in some ways more than they did at the beginning of season 1.”

Basically, it looks like the pair are trying their hardest not to end up in prison, which is bound to make for a suspense-filled season.

I have so many questions. For starters, what the hell did they do with the dead body? Why are they still friends? Are they still living together? Are we ignoring the fact that this is now the second man to be killed in this show and NOBODY has been charged with anything yet?

Anyway, here’s the trailer. Get ready to be on the edge of your seat (or couch) for another season of this absolute madness.
