Netflix is currently having a dope lil’ convention in Paris, which most of us would very much like to be at rn
. Two whole days of the casts and crews of Netflix’s best shows taking part in panel discussions and announcing exciting shit.
So, let us hit you with ‘exciting shit #1’, as delivered by Daredevil himself, Mr. Charlie Cox.
‘Daredevil’ (acclaimed series and recipient of much better reviews than it’s silver screen counterpart) is up to its second season on Netflix at the moment, and Cox was asked if there would be a third season:
“We don’t know if there’s going to be a season three. I certainly don’t know.”
However, Cox also announced that Netflix would soon start shooting ‘The Defenders’ – an Avengers-style show about the Marvel quartet; Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist & Daredevil himself.
“What we do know is at the end of this year we’re going to be making The Defenders and, of course, Daredevil is very much a part of that foursome.I have no idea what the storyline is going to be for that show.I’m very excited to see how those world’s combine… and interested to see tonally how those shows become one.”
So, with the huge success of Daredevil and Jessica Jones as separate shows, we can imagine that this will be done justice. Real talk.
‘The Defenders’ is set to start filming this year.
