Daisy Ridley & J.J. Abrams To Join Forces (Again) On Fantasy Thriller ‘Kolma’

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ alumni J.J. Abrams and Daisy Ridley just can’t get enough of working with each other.
According to The Wrap, they’re teaming on a (sadly un-Star Wars-sy) film called ‘Kolma’
It’s a fantasy thriller; the plot follows a couple who end up in a car accident that kills the man. 50 years later, the woman is about to pass away and has to make the choice whether to reunite with her love in the afterlife, or return to the fateful day her life changed forever.
It’s based on the 2003 Israeli film of the week, Keren Margalit‘s ‘All I’ve Got‘, and will be directed by ‘Diary of a Teenage Girl‘ filmmaker Marielle Heller.
While Abrams has taken the role as co-producer, there’s no official word as yet on what role Ridley has signed on for.
