That’s nice! The savvy minds behind Oz Comic-Con have just announced some fantastic news with the actress best known for playing chipper friend of Jesus Shirley Bennett on Community, Yvette Nicole Brown, confirmed to be attending their Melbourne event in Carlton next month.
Marking the first instance in which a player from the dearly departed NBC series has attended an Australian fan convention, Brown’s involvement will present attendees with professional photograph and autograph opportunities, an exclusive Q&A panel and for the truly committed, an exclusive dinner event.
Other previously announced headliners include Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver, Stargate SG-1), Robert Englund (Freddy Kreuger in A Nightmare on Elm Street), Tom Skerritt (Alien, Top Gun), Veronica Cartwright (Alien), Kristian Nairn (Hodor in Game of Thrones), Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne in Game of Thrones), Jason Dohring (Veronica Mars), Sam Huntington (Being Human), Arthur Darvill (Rory Williams in Doctor Who) and Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon A Time, House).
